Trichocereus peruvianus is a fast growing columnar cactus that grows natively in the Andes mountains of Peru. Trichocereus peruvianus also goes by the synonym Echinopsis peruviana and the common name Peruvian Torch cactus. Mature plants can reach heights up to 20 feet tall. Peruvian Torch cactus produces large white flowers. This species is also a relative to Trichocereus pachanoi (San Pedro), Trichocereus bridegesii, and Trichocereus macrogonus.
