Description
Aloe variegata is a species of aloe that originates from South Africa and Namibia. This species is a smaller species of aloe that usually does not grow beyond 12 inches tall. The leaves of Aloe variegata are rich green in color with irregular bands of light green. This banding is the reason Aloe variegata is commonly called Tiger Aloe. Aloe variegata is also called Partridge-Breasted Aloe. Once Aloe variegata reaches maturity, it will begin producing orange flowers between the months of July and September.
