Description
Capsicum annuum var. glabriusculum is a variety of Capsicum annum that commonly goes by the names Chiltepin, Indian Pepper, chiltepe, and chile tepin. Chiltepin is one of the oldest known hot peppers. Chiltepin is a perennial shrub that can still be found growing wild in Mexico and the southern parts of the United States. This species produces pea sized peppers that ripen from green to orange-red or red. These tiny peppers pack some heat and average 50,000 to 250,000 Scoville units. This particular species matures in 95 days. These are Non-GMO seeds.
