Leonurus sibiricus is a herbaceous plant species that is native to China, Mongolia, and Siberia. Leonurus sibiricus is commonly called Siberian Motherwort, Honeyweed, or Marijuanilla. The alkaloids isolated from the plant include Cyclolenurinine, Leoheterin, Leonurine, Leonurinine, Leuronurine, Prehispanolone, Preleoheterin, and Stachydrine. Leonurus sibiricus has been used medicinally and shares similar properties to Wild Dagga (Leonotis leonurus) and Klip Dagga (Leonotis nepetifolia).
